Best Ever Birthday Cake Frosting

Each of these frosting recipes provides enough for a 2 Layer cake; a 13x9 pan; or 24 cupcakes.
Ingredients
For the Vanilla Frosting
  • 4 Cups Confectioners' Sugar
  • ½ Cup Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 3-4 Tbsp Milk
For the Chocolate Frosting
  • 3 Cups Confectioners' Sugar
  • ½ Cup Unsweetened Cocoa
  • ½ Cup Butter
  • 3-4 Tbsp milk
Instructions
  1. Choose one of the types of frosting.
  2. Mix the ingredients in an electric mixer until combined. Add more milk as necessary for desired consistency.
  3. Spread on cooled cake.
